Reality TV star Meghan King had to cancel her trip to Disneyland so she could care for her children at home while they recovered from Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD). The 'Real Housewives of Orange County' alum, 37, posted a photo of herself and her twin boys, Hart and Hayes, 4, as well as daughter Aspen, 5, on Instagram on August 2, Tuesday, writing, "Long story short, my kids got hand, foot and mouth disease and we had to cancel our Disneyland trip."

In a blog post, King went into more detail about their diagnosis, which is characterized by contagious sores. "Aspen first noticed 'dots' on her hand," King wrote. The former Bravo Tv star claimed that as "it's summer and the kids get mosquito bites", she did not pay much attention to her oldest child's discomfort. Later, she carried out some research on Google, and her trip to Disneyland became a visit to the pediatrician.

Meghan King turns to fans, seeks 'potty-training advice' for her son with cerebral palsy

'RHOC' alum Meghan King and ex-husband Jim Edmonds' threesome saga explodes, but fans remain on her side

"The gross virus called Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (which should also have 'Private Parts' in the name… let me tell you) has invaded my home and infected all three of my children," King wrote. The blogger then addressed canceling her family's intended trip to the theme park. She remarked, "I'm trapped with these poor babies. Quarantine PTSD is coming back in full force."

"Thank goodness my kids weren't severely affected. They didn't have fevers, and other than being a little whiney they felt fine, ate fine and acted normal," King said after showing progress photos.

King recently was criticized by her ex-husband Jim Edmonds, with whom she co-parents the children, for telling her Instagram followers about Hart's struggles with toilet training.

King said in a 2-minute video, "I think for Hart it's because of his sensory issues. Initially, I didn't think he had the sensation of 'the go,' but now I know he has it; he's just afraid of the toilet. He knows when he has to go, he can hold it."

Edmonds' representative told TMZ in July that the former MLB star wished King would stop "exploiting" Hart's cerebral palsy and "respect their children's privacy and stop putting their son and his difficulties in the spotlight."

Edmonds, 52, claimed in July that King misdiagnosed their baby's illness after she announced the diagnosis for their son in October 2020. The sportscaster claims that Hart has periventricular leukomalacia, a type of brain injury that is indicated by the weakening of the white matter. King revealed the diagnosis in July 2019 and changed it to CP in 2020. King told Us Weekly that her ex-husband's assertions that she was "unaware" of the revised diagnosis were "untrue."
