Jessie J, 38, tears up building pram as she reveals eating meat during pregnancy after years of vegan diet
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jessie J, who is expecting her first child, broke down crying while building a pram on Wednesday, February 22 in her Instagram Stories. Jessie penned, "Sat sobbing putting the pram together, like sobbing loud. Still doesn't feel real. Happy, scared, can't believe it, excited af, what if I can't do it, he will be so small, I'm gonna love him so much tears."
Since she was having fertility problems, Jessie J has been on a vegan diet for years. However, now that she is expecting a child, her cravings are starting to overpower her diet. This week, the celebrity revealed on her Instagram Stories that she was "giving her body what it craves" by consuming pork at the Caribbean restaurant Joyces Jerk Joint in London. But, she continued, "most of my days" she still adheres to her vegan diet.

Jessie announced her pregnancy in January
Early in January, the star of 'Price Tag' revealed she was expecting a child. In a cute video posted to Instagram that detailed the many phases of her pregnancy, the singer showed off her baby bump. "I'm both excited and afraid to share this... Please be gentle with me," Jessie wrote on Instagram while posting videos of her scan and a positive pregnancy test.
She held up a positive pregnancy test to show her pleasure for her unborn child in the touching video, which was put to her own song 'Sunflower.' Jessie's pregnancy scan was displayed on a screen in other subsequent photos. The video showed Jessie at different phases of her pregnancy, with the happy expectant mother frequently smiling and lovingly holding her growing belly. The singer is still a few weeks away from giving birth.
Ahead of the 2023 Brit Awards, she also revealed the sex of her unborn child earlier this month on Instagram. “Since I wrote this song every time I play it or sing it he moves like crazy… so I think this song is the one,” she captioned the video on Instagram. “Oh yeah…I’m having a boy.”
Jessie J is in a relationship with basketball player Chanan Colman
Months after suffering a miscarriage, Jessie confirmed in April of last year that she was in a new relationship with basketball player Chanan Colman after they were spotted sharing a kiss during a lunch date in Los Angeles, as reported by Daily Mail. When Chanan joined Jessie on a business vacation to Richard Branson's Necker Island in the Caribbean in March 2022, rumors of a romantic relationship between the couple began to circulate.
In a group beach photo, Jessie posted to Instagram at the time, she appeared friendly with the Israeli-Danish professional basketball player. In May Jessie J hinted that the 38-year-old seasoned pro athlete is the first man she had been "truly in love" with.
