'I'm having a boy': Jessie J reveals baby's gender after showing off baby bump at BRIT Awards 2023
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jessie J announced the sex of her firstborn baby on Saturday, February 11, in an emotional Instagram post. The British pop singer revealed it’s going to be a boy after she was recently spotted flaunting her baby bump on the BRIT Awards 2023 red carpet. In her clip, the singer ravishes in her latest single and asks followers to pre-save while she holds her bump with great admiration.
"Since I wrote this song every time I play it or sing it he moves like crazy…so I think this song is the one," the 34-year-old captioned the video. "Oh yeah…I'm having a boy," she said while revealing the baby's gender. Jessie cheekily added, "And I promise I am wearing underwear." The song is about changes in her life, the ups, and downs, and she says “hi”- to her belly while she puts on a robe, reports People.

At BRIT Awards 2023, the ‘Domino’ singer sizzled in an all-red ensemble with her hair pulled back, as she posed at the cameras. It was in January when Jessie announced pregnancy for the first time. She then wrote on her Instagram account, "I am so happy and terrified to finally share this.” The singer opened up about her miscarriage last august, and said, "It's healthy and normal to have days of complete sadness and to honor all the feelings that come up, good and bad." Jessie also wrote about her November 2021 mishap, “The bad isn't often at all and yes I could go through this moment right now today alone in private and usually do, but today I am here. Because I know thousands of people around the 🌎 feel just like I do."
'Please be gentle with me'
She asked her fans this January while revealing her pregnancy to stay with her, "Please be gentle with me," throughout the journey. "Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate-covered pickle with no questions asked," Jessie shared.
Who is Chanan Colman?
Jessie J who previously dated Channing Tatum is now with the love of her life Chanan Colman. The couple has been together around for one year now, as Jessie went public about her newfound love in April, last year. Colman is a Danish-Israeli professional basketball player, who plays for Hapoel Haifa in Israel Basketball Premier League. He said in a 2017 interview, “Chanan Colman is a laid-back guy, raised by a Jewish mother in Denmark, Copenhagen, and that’s me. My mother moved from Israel to Denmark at the age of 9 when my grandmother got a job there so she moved at a very young age.
Colman told Sports Rabbi, “She met my father who was traveling the world at the time and ended up staying there. Copenhagen is an awesomely great city; it’s very easy to be a kid in some parts of Denmark.”
