Paralympian Dylan Alcott addresses outcry over video showing him using SEX TOY on his GF in public
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Dylan Alcott has finally addressed the controversy sparked after a video of him using a sex toy on his sexologist girlfriend, Chantelle Otten at a restaurant surfaced on the Internet.
Addressing the hot debate, 2022 Australian of the Year and wheelchair tennis star, 31, told Body+Soul Magazine that he is proud of the work Otten does and doesn’t pay attention to the criticism. 'Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm not telling other people how they should react,' he said.

“I’m not telling other people how they should react. All I know is what we represent in our relationship. I’m proud of the work that she does, and she supports me in the disability space.” he added.
The video in question was shared by Otten, 31, on her Instagram stories. With the footage, the sexologist gave a glimpse of her musical dining at a swanky restaurant with her boyfriend Alcott and a group of friends. Before heading out for the dinner, Otten gave a brief description of the product and said this sex toy is ‘for the pride month.'
'To celebrate Pride, I decided to try something new to bring me pleasure. This part slips in your knickers,' she explained to her 170,000 followers while showing off the device. Once she settled on her seat, she inserted the toy inside her and tossed her head saying she is enjoying the sensation. Later, Alcott and one of their friends slowly rubbed Otten’s crotch to feel the vibration of the device.
She then let her tennis star boyfriend take control of the device with his smartphone. As he controlled the device, Otten giggled and writhed around, occasionally gasping and giggling in ecstasy. "I'm going to confirm it is fun," she captioned the video. "Great for date night. Hand over control to your partner (or whoever, really!) Great for parties. Was it restaurant appropriate? I don't know, but we had fun!"
However, the footage of the couple ruffled feathers on Twitter. While some users criticized the tennis star, some came in support of the couple. "This is gutter behavior and no civilized society should allow it to be normalized. Time to cancel Australian of the Year," one Twitter user whined.
"As Australian of The Year, do we really need to read about your sexual adventures at a Sydney restaurant? Is anything sacred in your world? Sort yourself out," another user grumbled. "Sorry Dylan, you have lost me! Do what you want in private but keep it off social media," one critic wrote.
However, Alcott did receive plenty of positive feedback, with many supporters saying his racy date night with Otten made the sporting hero even more likable. "I just read an article about Dylan Alcott, a respected Paralympian, disability advocate, and Australian of the Year, using a sex toy on his partner at a restaurant. Frankly, I'm shocked. I didn't think I could like him more than I already did, but here we are," one fan tweeted.

We don’t discriminate.
Conduct unbecoming from The Australian Of The Year.
The end.
Ive never liked him & its got nothing to do with his disability.

Alcott and Otten first made their relationship public at a tennis event in April 2019, and have been inseparable ever since. Last year, Alcott told Good Weekend magazine he was very nervous before consummating his relationship with Otten, given that her entire career is centered around studying the sexual experience. "I thought, You're doing it with the best! But we're both sex-positive. It's important to me to talk about it," the athlete explained.
