Fans of 'RHONY: Reboot' criticized Jessel Taank for crying after Jessel Lyon gifted her long, baggy, green lingerie

HAMPTONS, NEW YORK: 'The Real Housewives of New York' fans are divided following the July 23 episode. Jenna Lyons gifted lingerie to the stars in the most recent Season 14 episode. However, viewers slammed Jessel Taank on Twitter when she complained about it to others.

We haven't had a single vacation where a group of ladies left their hometown without being so weighed down by luggage that they didn't resemble the boat that got stranded in the Suez Canal. We're in a new period, with a new cast, and they're continuing to do the same absurdities as their predecessors. Jenna gets lingerie for each of the women for their overnight stay. But when Jessel took offense to hers, all hell broke loose.

'Grinch vibes'

Jenna gave everyone lingerie, and Jessel's is an emerald green silk slip with black lace trim that she describes as "Grinch vibes". The slip is as hideous as sin. It's ill-fitting and overly long, and Jessel can't disguise her aversion to it. Jenna, however, clocks Jessel straight back before leaving for dinner, thereby marking Jessel a fashion victim due to clashing brand labels.

Jessel is the one who is humiliating herself at home. Her lingerie ensemble is a lengthy, ill-fitting green sheath, and she's walking, moaning about her present, how ugly it is, how large it is, and how gaudy the color is. She speaks directly to Jenna, "It's f**king disgusting." Way to control your response in front of the woman who triggered it!

Jenna recalls talking to a friend, probably the brand's owner, who knew Sai De Silva and other "influencers" would be there. Several ladies recall Jenna combing through their Instagram feeds to discover what they want, and then being disappointed with her choices. This is significant because, while it is not totally clear, it appears that Jenna received these as a gift from the label or via a PR acquaintance who represents the company and has access to free clothing. That explains why they might not have been the ideal options or sizes.

'Gave Jessel a size large of that lingerie to give her room for all that sour attitude'

Speaking of Jessel's reaction, one viewer tweeted, "Jessel is being rude af about this lingerie and also, there’s nothing wrong with being a side “large.” Urging Jenna to not give Jessel the platform to drag her, one fan tweeted, "Jessel is being annoying about the lingerie and Jenna is being way too meek about it. tell her to shut up and be grateful for the gift."

One felt, "That lingerie was ugly as hell but just say thank you and shove in the bottom of your suitcase like a normal person, weirdo." A fourth user threw a jab at her and said, "Maybe they gave Jessel a size large of that lingerie to give her room for all that sour attitude she was sporting."

Calling Jessel 'insecure', one viewer tweeted, "And by the way, Jessel is insecure AF, and being rude about Jenna’s lingerie gift to cover up how awkward she looks and feels." Another viewer asked, "Jessel didn’t have to love the lingerie but why is she carrying on about it so much, especially in front of Jenna??"

Another person added, "I like all of the lingerie pieces. These women are so ungrateful." One person further said, "The fact that Jenna got everyone some nice lingerie and all Jessel is doing is complaining. Not cool!"
