'Don't let me down!' Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola all set to return to 'Jersey Shore' after 10 years
JERSEY SHORE, NEW JERSEY: Sammi Giancola of ‘Jersey Shore’ is all set to make a grand comeback on the show after 10 years. Giancola, who was an original cast member of the MTV reality show when it first aired in 2009, has not been on it since 2012. When the channel rebooted the series in 2018 with the name ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’, Giancola, 35, chose not to reappear.
However, fans of Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola can rejoice as the reality TV star is returning amidst great fanfare to the show's upcoming season. ‘Jersey Shore’ official put up a post showing a photo of the New Jersey native sitting on a stool in front of a green screen in what appears to be a recording studio room. She appears to be recording confessionals for the show surrounded by microphones.

The Instagram post was captioned, “She’s still the sweetest b***h you’ll ever meet. @sammisweetheart,” with the hashtag, “#JSFamilyVacation”.
Sammi Giancola’s track in the show
Making her first appearance in the show in the first season, Giancola started off as a single girl recently coming out of a relationship. In Season 1, Episode 3, she developed a connection with fellow castmate Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Even though she left the show in 2012, she was in a tumultuous relationship with Ortiz-Magro in 2014, when they finally decided to split.
In 2018, Giancola shared that she would not be returning for the show’s reboot in a social media post. She wrote, “I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and relationship," adding, “I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially toxic situations.”
Ortiz-Magro was part of the original 'Jersey Shore' for a long time and was part of the reboot as well until he was arrested in 2021 for what some reports alleged was a domestic violence case.

‘Jersey Shore’ star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino’s wife Lauren commented with a set of exclamation marks while Jenni "JWoww" Farley commented with a number of clapping emojies. Justina Valentine wrote, “EPIC."
One fan mused, “If she’s back it’s because Ron isn’t around no more." “BREAKING THE INTERNET ONE SAMMI AT A TIME,” wrote another user. Another curious fan said, “Curious if the cast will welcome her back to the show with open arms or treat her like an outcast after everything…”. Another fan said, “This is gonna break the internet." A fan, who could not wait for the drama, commented, “This is gonna beeee epicccccc - bring ron back tooooo! We need some damage." A concerned fan said, “Plz tell me ronnie isn’t going to be around when she comes back!!!” “Ok now I’m watching,” quipped a fan.
There were some apprehensions in the comment section though. One fan wrote, “If Sammi comes back I will actually lose it! Don’t let me down!!” A second wrote, “Is she coming back? Ron is gone. I never liked her stank attitude however it’s been a decade I hope she’s learned some manners & grown up."
