'For the 500 millionth time': Jennifer López's snaps at troll who accused her of getting 'tons of Botox'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer López has been rather candid about whether or not she's ever tried Botox, especially after launching her skincare line JLo Beauty. However, some critics continued to accuse her of getting cosmetic surgery, to which the diva had a fitting response.
López is easily one of the most influential singer-songwriters, actresses, and businesswomen in the world. She has not only garnered a reputation for her talent in front of the cameras, but also for her humanitarian nature. People magazine once called her the most beautiful woman in the world, while Forbes positioned her as the most powerful celebrity on the planet. Regardless, the star has been accused of undergoing aesthetic procedures to maintain her image -- something that appears to bother her considerably.

Presenters of the Spanish-language entertainment program 'El Gordo y la Flaca' discussed a tense moment between a singer and one of her followers who told her it was unmistakable that she had botox on her face. “A follower dared to tell her that she had a lot of botox and the Diva from the Bronx quickly answered her, telling her that millions of times she has said that this is her face and that she has never had botox or surgery and that she better be more positive and help the others to be as well," one of the presenters explained. The exchange took place after López shared her entire skincare routine with fans to promote her line of JLo Beauty products, flaunting her naturally clear and glowing skin on Instagram.
“May I mention that your eyebrows and forehead don't move at all when you talk or try to express yourself?" one Instagram user commented on her post, adding, "You definitely have Botox. And tons of it. And it's all good. I'm just saying." López did not hesitate to respond. "LOL, that's just my face!!!" she wrote. "For the 500 millionth time... I have never done Botox or any injectable or surgery!! Just sayin' 😊." The singer also had some free advice for the commenter. "Get you some JLO BEAUTY and feel beautiful in your own skin!!" she continued. 'I'm not that person'
As reported by the Daily Mail, JLo opened up about the cosmetic surgery accusations during a Zoom conference with members of the press. "I haven't ever had Botox to this day...I'm not that person," she said. "I don't have anything against people doing that; it's just not my thing. I'm more about a natural approach to skincare … but I want [my products] to work." The diva added, "I want the hyaluronic acid in there. I want the things that are going to help because I don’t want to have to go to the needles at some point. I’m not saying one day I won’t, but I haven't yet."
