Beyonce’s seventh solo album, ‘Renaissance’, has been making a lot of noise ever since it dropped on Friday, July 29. The iconic crooner, who is married to rapper Jay-Z, has seemingly hinted at his cheating scandal while pointing out the infamous fight in the elevator he had with her sister Solange way back in 2014.

Fans think Queen Bey took a dig at Jay Z’s cheating scandal in ‘Cozy’, Alien Superstar’, and ‘Plastic on the Sofa’. The Grammy-winning crooner had apparently pulled the same stunt on ‘Flawless’ remix in 2015 where she included the lyric, “Of course sometimes s**t goes down when there’s a billion dollars on an elevator." In May 2014, a leaked security footage showed Solange attacking Jay-Z in an elevator as Beyonce looked on after they departed from the Met Gala after-party.

Beyonce in her new album ‘Renaissance’ seemed to have addressed Jay Z’s cheating scandal. Though she nowhere mentions clearly that her rapper husband had an affair with her sister Solange but in the song, ‘Cozy’, the 40-year-old refers to the elevator scandal singing, “She’s a god, she’s a hero, she survived, all she been through, confident and lethal.” She adds, “Might I suggest you don’t f**k with my sis because she ­comfortable. Comfortable in my skin, cozy with who I am.”
 
On the track, 'Alien Superstar', Beyonce seemingly talks about accepting lies from her spouse while keeping him hooked in the marriage. She sings, “Keep him addicted, lies on his lips, I lick it.” The award-winning songstress on the song ‘Plastic on the Sofa’ takes a jab at the media scrutiny regarding their relationship.

“We don’t need the world’s acceptance. They’re too hard on me, they’re too hard on you, boy”, sings Beyonce. She adds, “Boy, I know you can’t help but to be yourself around me, yourself around me/And I know nobody’s perfect so I’ll let you be, I’ll let you be/It’s the way that you wear your emotions on both of your sleeves/ ’til the face you make when I tell you that I had to leave.”
 
In 2016, Beyonce in her album, ‘Lemonade’, had spoken about her husband’s alleged infidelity back when she referenced the woman as “Becky with the good hair”. The following year, Jay referred to the scandal himself saying in a candid interview with the New York Times. He said, he went “into survival mode” and had to “shut down emotionally,” which led to his infidelity.   

‘Solange don’t care if y’all know’

Social media users flocked to Twitter to speak on Beyonce seemingly referring to Jay Z’s cheating scandal. “No way, #Beyonce singing "Might I suggest you don't f**k with my sis" in Cozy is her recalling what happened with Solange and Jay-Z in 2014”, said one user as another posted, “I really hope Beyonce gives us a song with Solange in ACT 2.”
 
One user added, “lmfao beyonce getting real ratchet on church girl. ikdr. beyonce ghetto fr but downplay it cause yall do too much. solange dont care if yall kno.” Another said, “I could care less.  This is the second time she addressed this in a song.  If she is not going to speak on a platform about it I could care less.  If she's doing this do songs to debunk D Child rumors.” And, a user concluded, “When Beyonce says “might I suggest you don’t f**k with my sis” she means like bc Solange will f**k you up on an elevator right? Right.”
