Days after dropping her banger ‘Break My Soul’, Beyonce finally shared the official album cover for her upcoming 7th solo studio album ‘Renaissance’. The Grammy-winning icon took to her Instagram on Thursday, June 30 to reveal the cover art along with a detailed caption hoping the fans, would “find joy in this music.”

Social media users thronged to Twitter as Queen Bey easily managed to break the Internet. The 40-year-old, on the new album cover, can be seen sitting on a holographic horse while going almost nude. A few fans suggested how Bey's cover art was similar to John Collier’s iconic 19th century painting Lady Godiva and also a photograph of Bianca Jagger on horseback at Studio 54. According to Wikipedia, Lady Godiva in Old English Godgifu was a late Anglo-Saxon noblewoman who is documented as the wife of Leofric, Earl of Mercia, and a patron of various churches and monasteries.

Beyonce poses on glowing holographic horse

The cover art of ‘Renaissance’ sees Beyonce wearing a skimpy outfit while almost revealing her modesty. The award-winning R&B icon dons a metallic bikini covered in nothing but chains. The highlight of the album cover is clearly her riding the glowing celestial, holographic horse.

Beyonce also shed light on her new album, with the caption, “act i     RENAISSANCE      7.29. Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving.” She continued, “My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom” further explaining, “It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.” For the unversed, Beyonce’s ‘Renaissance’ is a follow-up to her 2016 solo album ‘Lemonade’.

‘Love that she takes care of her mind, body, soul, & voice’

The loyal fans of Beyonce flocked to Twitter to praise her album cover art. “I’m sorry but this is Beyoncé’s best album cover argue with your mama not me because WHAT THE F**K.” One chimed in, “I really appreciate Beyonce's knowledge of art history. This new album cover is an ode to Lady Godiva and her fascinating story.” Another added, “With the “RENAISSANCE” cover art, this is the first time Beyoncé shows her face on a studio album cover since “4” in 2011, over a decade ago.”

Well even Megan Thee Stallion didn't know what to say when she saw Queen Bey's new cover so she just left it at 'Good Lordddd.'

One fan tweeted, “I still can’t believe this is Beyoncé’s album cover. This is so revealing, even for B’s standards. I love it. I just love that she takes care of her mind, body, soul, & voice. So much hate towards her for being unapologetically herself & she only gets more & more powerful.” Meanwhile, another shared, “THIS IS BEYONCÉ’S BEST ALBUM COVER TO DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” And, one added, “Beyonce releasing an album cover of her riding a glowing horse let’s me know this album is going to be DIFFERENT.” Another concluded, “I see the Lady Godiva reference in Beyonce's album cover. I see you Bey.”
