Jared Leto, 51, is ‘gaga’ for 22-year-old girlfriend but pals worry about huge age gap between couple
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jared Leto has been in quite a few high-profile relationships over the years. The 51-year-old has been linked with some of the biggest stars, including Scarlett Johansson and Cameron Diaz. However, the singer’s latest love interest is reportedly a 22-year-old Burmese model, Thet Thinn.
"Jared's been telling everyone he has a special girl in his life and isn't seeing anyone else. It's pretty new but he's gaga for her," an insider told RadarOnline. Leto’s pals were concerned about him, stating that the huge age gap between the pair “does sound some alarms,” but “it helps that Jared's in fantastic shape and looks closer to her age than he is.”

‘He's a great guy’
The insider reportedly said, “He admits it's taken him a long time to mature, but he's a great guy and would make a great dad, so people are hoping he's really serious about finding a long-term partner.” The ‘Suicide Squad’ actor’s romance with Thinn began after his split with Russian model, Valery Kaufman.
Leto and Kaufman were said to be together from 2020 to September 2022. “Jared Leto and Valery Kaufman broke up. He is single and has been dating around,” a source said at the time. In 2016, Leto revealed that he did not want his personal life to become too public.
Leto told E! Online, “Even if I was in a relationship or maybe if I was having kids, I don't know if I would share that information publicly. You know what I've learned about women? I know absolutely nothing about women. The older I get, it's just people. I just see people.”
‘I was too busy taking drugs’
Speaking about his marriage plans, the ‘Fight Club’ star said, “It's just how things are. I don't think there's a definitive decision that I've made,” adding, “You never know. Someone could always come up to a show and give me a little surprise visit. 'Dad?' In a way, that would be kind of f*****g beautiful. What an incredible surprise that would be!”
Leto reportedly had a rough childhood as he used to do drugs while his friends were busy with academics or athletics. He said, “I was too busy taking drugs, which was kind of a sport,” adding, “A lot of them were really fun. There are just those few that tend to kick you in the a**. I guess at some point, too, there's a decision: Is this going to be my life? I made a choice to pursue other dreams. I guess that's just the kind of f****d thing about a lot of drugs: The opportunity cost is too high. Some drugs are incredible, but the risk versus reward is out of line. I just saw too many examples of what not to do.”
The Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman wanted to be an artist or a drug dealer when he was a child. “They both had their own risk and reward. I didn't even know the word 'celebrity.' I didn't have posters of people that I loved on my wall. Like, I must have listened to Led Zeppelin II 16,412 times. I didn't even know what the f**k they looked like. I thought musicians and actors and these types of people were like magic. It was royalty or you were born into it, or it was some stroke of luck or genius,” he said.
