ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Jamie Foxx was hospitalized on Tuesday, April 11, after experiencing what his daughter described on an Instagram post as a "medical complication." The social media upload did not offer any other specifics relating to what caused the 55-year-old to land in a hospital which left fans wondering if the Foxx suffered a stroke or an aneurysm. However, it comes nearly a week after the actor seeking treatment that he reportedly suffered a "brain bleed." 

According to Media Take Out, a close friend of Foxx's family revealed that the actor suffered what doctors called a "brain bleed." However, the condition may not be that serious. It is believed that the bleed, or hemorrhage, was minor and Foxx will soon make a full recovery from it. The source added that the 'Project Power' actor reportedly was suffering headaches which is when he decided to get himself checked out. However, the doctors realized Foxx's condition and decided to immediately admit him to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. The filming for the Netflix movie 'Back in Action' starring Foxx and Cameron Diaz, is "currently underway," and will wrap up this week. It is unclear if the 'Annie' actor yet has scenes to film.

'He is already on his way to recovery'

Foxx's daughter Corinne took to Instagram to announce that the actor had experienced a health-related incident last Tuesday. "From the Foxx family: We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery," the post read, adding, "We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during his time. Much love, The Foxx Family."

'Prayers continuously flowing'

Worried fans are sending prayers for the actor as one wrote, "Dear God, watch over Jamie Foxx please." Another tweet read, "I was literally just thinking of him and hoping to hear some positive news." A third tweet said, "Me and my bestie were just talking about him minutes ago. Prayers continuously flowing." A fan wrote, "Jamie you are a nan of great wisdom! You made us all laugh when we were sad now get up and make your spirit line up with your body right now in the great name of JESUS!!!!!! Much love to you always and forever Amen!"
