Jamie Campbell Bower celebrates 7 years of sobriety after addiction battle, fans say 'proud of you'
Jamie Campbell Bower, of the 'Stranger Things'' fame, recently opened up about his past addiction while celebrating 7.5 years of sobriety.
Jamie achieved critical acclaim for playing Vecna in the much-loved Netflix show. He revealed that things got so bad he "ended up in a hospital for mental health".

Jamie took to Twitter to share his emotional journey with fans and expressed his gratitude as to where he is today.
Jamie tweeted, "12 and a half years ago I was in active addiction. Hurting myself and those around me who I loved the most. It got so bad that eventually I ended up in a hospital for mental health." Jamie admitted making many mistakes in life and wrote that he is sober for almost 7.5 years now.

Furthermore, Jamie added how imperative it is to learn from mistakes and grow. He wrote,"But each day is a chance to start again. Atone for mistakes and grow. For anyone who wakes up thinking “oh god not again” I promise you there’s a way."
