TikToker Miranda Wilson SLAMMED for photoshopping Natalia Dyer's face for 'perfect look'
Nurse practitioner and beautician Miranda Wilson, who goes by @np.miranda on TikTok, picked the facial features of Natalia Dyer and suggested the types of plastic surgery she would give the ‘Stranger Things’ actress in a video. This unsolicited 'beauty advise' was quickly slammed by many, with many castigating Miranda and questioning the beauty standards of society.
Over the weekend, Miranda, who is a certified aesthetic nurse practitioner injector at Hebe Skin Health in California, according to Parade, uploaded a TikTok video suggesting all the cosmetic procedures she would recommend if the 27-year-old actress was her client. In the video, she can be heard saying, “Okay, guys. Let’s talk about Natalia Dyer from Stranger Things. First of all, she killed it in Stranger Things. So if I were Natalia’s injector, this is what I would do.” She then added, “We’d start by treating those masseters to help slim the face. Next, I would actually add a bit of chin filler just to help fill out her chin. I would add just a little bit to the lips, and then we’d get in there and do a little bit of botox. I’d give her a nice brow lift to help open up her eyes.” Once she was done giving suggestion, she shared the before and after images. However, the now-deleted video sparked debate about society’s obsession with the so called ‘perfect look,’ with many slamming Miranda for the unwanted suggestions.

While another said, "One thing they taught young me in advertising (before I left it) is that our job was to destroy self esteem. One thing they taught young me in advertising (before I left it) is that our job was to destroy self esteem. By targeting someone people hold as extremely beautiful, they are targeting your self esteem more than they are Natalia Dyer.

Praising Natalia's unique features, one fan wrote, "The way people demonize other people’s unique features like natalia dyer’s jaw like can we acknowledge that her uniqueness is a huge factor in her beauty? im tired of everyone being expected to look the exact same and being insulted for not fitting the mold." Another said, "Still can’t believe a plastic surgeon spoke on what she’d change about someone’s face without a) their consent, b) any indication that the person disliked those features + c) putting a disclaimer that the person is already beautiful as they are?”

Miranda Wilson apologize to Natalia Dyer
After the backlash, Miranda issued an apology after deleting the video. She was quoted by Just Jared as saying, "Hoping to clear the air that I was not suggesting that Natalia NEEDED any of that work it was just an example. Of course Natalia is absolutely stunning the way she is…that’s why she’s so successful. Her photo was simply an example. I'm sorry if peole took that as being mean or rude, that was not my intent at all.”
