James Corden nails dad duties: Picks Carey, 8, from school after filming last 'The Late Late Show' episode
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: James Corden, 44, made sure his father duties are on fleek by spending time with his daughter Carey, 8. The father-daughter outing comes only one day after announcing the end of ‘The Late Late Show’ after eight years on the air.
The comedian and husband of Julia Carey was caught strolling with his eldest child as he picked her up from school in the Los Angeles, CA region. He was dressed in a black hoodie, trousers, and dark blue sneakers, while Carey was dressed in a gray basketball jersey, blue shorts, white sneakers, and a black headband on her hair.

Both of them appeared delighted as they passed by cameras on their way to their destination. James displayed some facial hair while holding his phone and what seemed to be a packaged drink. There didn't appear to be any additional family members with them at the time.
James and Carey's most recent outing appears to demonstrate that he is ready to move on from his talk show and focus on spending time with his family. The renowned comic said farewell to his popular programme with some significant guests, including his buddy Harry Styles and fellow comedian Will Ferrell. He also co-hosted another episode of Carpool Karaoke with fellow Brit Adele.
'I underestimated the number of friends I've made'
The YouTube video of James and Adele was both amusing and touching, as the two sang together and reminisced on special times in their friendship. One especially moving moment was when Adele revealed that she was crafting her song 'I Drink Wine' following a six-hour talk with James about life. He told her he was "floored" by how she "captured how I was feeling about myself and life and just put it in a verse" about the song, adding that it was the "greatest privilege."
At the end of the final show, James, who plans to return to the United Kingdom with his wife Julia and their three children, Carey, Max, 12, and Charlotte, 5, extended his appreciation to his audience and watchers at home. "I'll miss everything," he remarked of leaving the late-night program. James added, "I underestimated the number of friends I've made. I'll miss going to work every day with my buddies. I'm just positive it's time for us as a family to return home."
