FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA: It seems that TLC might be hit by a lawsuit by one the painter Vladimir Kush.

In new episode of 'Sister Wives', Kody and Robyn Brown can be seen decorating their house with art by Vladimir without showmakers blurring it.

However, Without Crystal Ball reports that the couple or the show did not take license approval to feature the art on the show.

Vladimir's art is reported to have featured on the show "without a license or payment to him." And, that could be a solid point for one to file a lawsuit against the streaming platform.

However, in the new episodes of the show, the paintings hanging in Kody and Robyn's house are blurred hinting that Vladimir might have threatened to sue the network.

Blurring the art on show is likely a result of  "cease and desist" by Vladimir for copyright infringement.

Vladimir has all the rights to file a lawsuit against TLC as all the brands featured on any show for commercial purpose needs to either have consent or proper license.

Has 'Sister Wives' Brown family been sued before?

Just after 'Sister Wives' debuted on TLC, Lehi, Utah announced a legal investigation against Kody Brown and his wives.

They were accused of possible charges of bigamy that was considered a third-degree felony.

However, in July 2011 Browns filed a complaint against the District of Utah, challenging its criminal polygamy law.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, the Brown family released a statement back then, "There are tens of thousands of plural families in Utah and other states. We are one of those families. We only wish to live our private lives according to our beliefs. While we understand that this may be a long struggle in court, it has already been a long struggle for my family and other plural families to end the stereotypes and unfair treatment given consensual polygamy."

In June 2012, the criminal case against the family was dropped.
