Is Paris Field single? ‘Below Deck’ star calls her last relationship 'a nightmare’ after being cheated on
GRENADA, CARRIBEAN: During the latest episode of 'Below Deck' Season 11, Paris Field opened up to Barbara 'Barbie' Pascual, in an emotionally charged heart-to-heart conversation.
Holding nothing back, Paris Field shared intricate details about her love life, delving into the depths of her past experiences and unveiling a harrowing tale of a relationship she can only describe as a haunting nightmare.
While chatting, Barbara asked Paris, "Do you have anyone at home waiting for you," to which she responded, "No." Barbara added, "You just look refreshed," meanwhile Paris replied, "It's called post-break-up glow, honey."
Then, Barbara questioned her, "Did you have a rough break up." Talking of her breakup, Paris said, "Yes. it sucked." During a confessional, Paris spoke about her last relationship and said, "My last relationship was a bit of nightmare. He was cheating on me with his ex."
"His ex stole my stuff, posted photos online in my clothes. So ya, I'm just happy being alone at the moment. The guys on the boat, they are really nice but nah, I'm good," she added. Barbara asked Paris, "What do you do in your free time and stuff like that?" to which Paris responded, "Just talking sh*t and listening to my own voice."
'Below Deck' star Paris Field previously dated Jake Foulger
It is speculated that Jake Fougler and Paris Field met while working in the yachting industry, with Paris serving as a sole steward in Perth, Australia, and Jake working as a deckhand. Their shared professional background likely brought them together and formed a strong connection between them.
Despite announcing their engagement on 'Below Deck' Season 9, it was hinted that their relationship might not have been based on genuine intentions. Jake admitted on the show that Paris was with him solely for a green card, as Paris is from Australia and Jake is from London, UK.
While Paris has not confirmed this claim, it seems that the couple parted ways shortly after Jake returned from filming, suggesting that their relationship may not have been built on a solid foundation.
Jake and Paris kept their relationship timeline a mystery, not disclosing how long they were together or when they started dating. They were a couple during the filming of 'Below Deck' Season 9 in early 2021, but Jake never mentioned when their romance began on the show. It can be assumed that they had been together for a significant period since they were engaged by the time Jake was on the show.
Why did Paris Field and Jake Foulger split?
Shortly after Jake finished filming season 9 of 'Below Deck', his relationship with Paris came to an end. Although neither of them publicly acknowledged the breakup on social media, it becomes evident in 'Below Deck' season 11 when Paris refers to Jake as her ex.
This suggests that their romantic connection was severed. Interestingly, it seems that Paris may have held deeper emotions for Jake than he revealed during the show. This assumption arises from the fact that Paris appears to be disillusioned and distrustful due to negative experiences in her past.
During one of her confessionals, she said, "I don't have any serotonin or any happiness left, so I just wanna stir the pot and regain some of that happiness back through people's suffering. That's not really true. I'm not evil. I promise."
