'Jurassic World: Chaos Theory' executive producer and co-showrunner Scott Kreamer recently shed light on the potential franchise spin-offs of the popular animated series. During his latest interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kreamer disclosed that initially, he wasn't sure about the idea of working on a sequel series for DreamWorks Animation Television's Camp Cretaceous. Originally, Kreamer was going to turn down the project. Eventually, Kreamer changed his mind after discussions. He took a leap of faith and decided to work on the beloved series. 'Jurassic World: Chaos Theory' Season 4, which premiered on November 20, marks the end of the series. However, Kreamer said he is open to the idea of working on more spin-offs with fresh characters and new storylines.

While 'Jurassic World: Chaos Theory' may have some connections with the events of 'Jurassic World Dominion', Kreamer said that fans should not expect the same from the latest instalment, 'Jurassic World Rebirth'. "When we started on this, I'm not sure I got to read the Rebirth script. I don't think we even knew about Rebirth. That was months after we finished writing the show. I always knew, after we got the lowdown on Dominion, that's where I saw the series ending. To bookend it with two survival stories was always the idea,” Kreamer told The Hollywood Reporter.

In addition to this, Kreamer mentioned that he is considering delving deep into the dinosaur franchise's ongoing universe with or without Nublar Six. Elsewhere in the interview, Kreamer said, "Given the time gap between Chaos Theory and Rebirth, there is plenty of runway to finish off a Nublar Six trilogy that leads into the most recent movie. That said, it would have to be a story worth telling, one that does justice to these characters as well as the franchise as a whole. You wouldn't want to do it just to do it. But I've definitely got some ideas in that regard. And as far as a new set of characters in a new story set in this dino-world, I've got some ideas about that as well."

For the unversed, 'Jurassic World: Chaos Theory' is a sci-fi animated series that serves as a sequel to 'Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous', and it takes place before and during the events of 'Jurassic World Dominion'. The show stars Paul-Mikél Williams, Sean Giambrone, Kausar Mohammed, Raini Rodriguez, Darren Barnet, and Kiersten Kelly. In case you're wondering, 'Jurassic World: Chaos Theory' is available for streaming only on Netflix.
