TAMPA, FLORIDA: Hulk Hogan recently underwent another back surgery, the 11th of his career, and things seem to have gotten a little worse this time. The 69-year-old wrestling legend reportedly told Kurt Angle that after the treatment, he reportedly has no feeling in his lower body.

"Hogan had his back surgery again," WWE star Angle stated on his podcast show, 'The Kurt Angle Show'. "He had the nerves cut from his lower body. He can't feel his lower body. So [he] uses his cane to walk around." Hogan previously underwent a 10-hour back surgery in the year 2010. He had checked into a hospital in the Tampa area in 2010 to receive treatment for his ailing back, which was mostly brought on by years of fights inside the ring. When discussing Hogan's recent surgery, Angle said, "I thought he was using the cane because he had pain in his back. He doesn't have any pain. He has nothing at all. He can't feel anything. So now he can't feel his legs. So he has to walk with a cane which is, you know, that’s pretty serious, man." Hogan has not yet responded to Angle's assertions that were highlighted on his podcast.

'Bro I'm losing my heroes'

Following the revelation of Hogan's health situation, a plethora of supporters have expressed their concerns. One fan wrote, "So thee, Hulk Hogan can't feel his legs because they f****d up and cut a nerve during surgery?! Bruce Willis has aphasia! Bro I'm losing my heroes." A fan who is thankful that Hogan is still alive wrote, "Man I bet this has made him feel terrible but what's most important is that he's alive." After learning about Hogan, a third fan who opposes back surgeries wrote, "Now I know I'm definitely not getting back surgery." Another fan who felt sorry for the wrestlers from Hogan's era remarked, "That's so sad. I watched some of kurt angles documentary and it is so sad what them wrestlers are like now due to what they were forced to do to their bodies. Prayers for all the older wrestlers from back in the day."

Hulk Hogan reportedly underwent 25 surgeries

Hogan's daughter, Brooke Hogan, previously told in 2021 that her father had undergone a total of 25 surgeries. Hogan once told, "My knees are fake, hips are fake, back is full of metal and part of my face is full of metal," as reported by DailyMail.

Hogan's right knee reportedly sustained a minor meniscus tear in 2006, but he chose not to get surgery at the time. At that point, he claimed, he began accepting the reality that he was growing older and that his professional athletic career was probably coming to an end.

"I'm sort of freaking out," Hogan said. "I'm beginning to learn I'm a lot older... And with age, it's tough to be the same dependable guy I've been in the past. I realize that as I get up there in age, I can't go on forever," as per the outlet.

Hogan last participated in a competition in a TNA Wrestling match in 2013. Due to his repeated injuries and treatments for them, his career as a wrestler had to end. But seems like the star still has some fight left in him. "If I was healthy, shoot—yeah, man, all day long," Hogan said on the 'Two Man Power Trip' podcast.
