TAMPA, FLORIDA: A young boy ran on the field and got barbarically tackled by security during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 21-15 home win against Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, October 10, 2022.

The horrific incident happened during the second quarter of the game when the Buccaneers were lining up for an extra point after a Leonard Fournette touchdown. The video of the incident, which was recorded by the fans, shows the young boy playing a trick on the security and invading the field before getting brutally tackled by the guards.

ESPN’s Jenna Laine reported the boy was bought down near the sideline at Raymond James Stadium and was held down for a few seconds before being evicted from the field. Eddy Durkin, a spokesperson for the Tampa Police Department, revealed that the boy was issued a civil citation and given the notice to appear in court.

A woman, who identified herself as the mother of the boy, told the AP that the boy was just 10 years old but the police department is claiming that the boy is surely older than 10. The officials have refused to release the identity of the boy as he is a juvenile. The deputies said the mother had several children with her and she got confused about which one had invaded the ground. Tampa Police Department spokesman Lt Abe Carmack said there was “an incident involving a juvenile” at Raymond James Stadium during the game but no charges will be filed and no arrest was made.

However, this is not the first time when a fan has invaded the field during an intense NFL game. Recently, an animal right activist ran on the field during the San Francisco 49ers´ home game against Los Angeles. With a pink smoke torch in hand, he invaded the game and got rammed by Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner.

TMZ reported the protester identified as Alex Taylor of the group Direct Action Everywhere went to the Santa Clara Police Department on Tuesday where he reported that he was not just assaulted by Wagner but also got flattened by another Rams player.

Wagner and teammate Takkarist McKinley decided to take Taylor down after he managed to make the security chase him. The pair stood on the sideline as they watched the spectator's great escape unfold. As he passed them, the Rams players darted out in an attempt to bring him down. It is unclear if the two Rams players are going to face any further legal action.
