LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: True crime movies and TV series have a chokehold on cinema. Not only do they cause a major stir in society, but also bring back bad memories for the victims' families. We all saw the drawbacks of 'Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' starring Evan Peters during its release. What makes this genre rather addictive is that the plot is quite gripping and the ending is often unpredictable, leading to viewers feeling as if it won't be ending too soon. Now, the newest addition to the crime-thriller list is 'Love & Death' by HBO Max starring Elizabeth Olsen in the lead.

The limited series is a story about Candace "Candy" Lynn Montgomery, an American woman accused of murdering her lover's wife, Betty Gore. The murder took place in Wylie, Texas, on June 13, 1980. The case of Candy Montgomery is quite well-known and has been previously on TV with a movie titled 'A Killing in a Small Town'. 'Love & Death' is all set to release on HBO Max on 27 April.
