LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The saga of true-crime installments lives on with yet another chilling investigation on the horizon. Coming up next is the limited HBO series 'Love & Death,' which recounts Betty Gore's (Lily Rabe) gruesome murder. The killer was none other than her neighbor and friend Candy Montgomery (Elizabeth Olsen), who was having an affair with Gore's husband at the time. The limited series will be based on John Bloom and Jim Atkinson's books 'Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion' and 'Death in the Suburbs,' as well as a few articles that were published in the Texas Monthly regarding the case.

The limited series stars Elizabeth Olsen ('WandaVision') as Candy Montgomery, Jesse Plemons ('Jungle Cruise') as Allan Gore, Lily Rabe ('American Horror Story') as Betty Gore, Krysten Ritter ('Jessica Jones') as Sherry Cleckler, Patrick Fugit ('Outcast') as Pat Montgomery, Keir Gilchrist ('Atypical') as Pastor Ron Adams, Elizabeth Marvel ('House of Cards') as Pastor Jackie Ponder, and Tom Pelphrey ('Ozark') as Don Crowder.

Reality has a way of showing up

This time, it’s Elizabeth Olsen who has an axe to grind with Lily Rabe as the former will be taking on the role of a jealous and murderous housewife in HBO Max’s series, which has released an official trailer. Bored with her humdrum and mundane life at home, the teaser introduces us to Candy Montgomery (Olsen), a woman searching for more than her black-and-white life has offered.

'This is gonna serve'

After the trailer surfaced online, fans could barely keep calm. A fan said, "I mean just saying if Elizabeth Olsen came up to me saying she wants an affair time and place like I'm not fighting it.

Will never happen but find me someone who would say no." A fan wrote, "Lizzie is gonna take home ALL the awards," while another shared, "This is gonna serve...she is about to make history all over again." A fan tweeted, "Just give her the Emmy now." Lastly, a fan commented, "Ooo this is gonna be good."
