NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Bethenny Frankel recently revealed that she was attacked by a random man on the streets of New York City while searching for an apartment.
The former cast member of 'The Real Housewives of New York City' was in Manhattan scouting apartments when she alleges she paused for a snack and encountered "this man, this homeless man."
In a video posted on Thursday to her TikTok audience, Bethenny Frankel, aged 53, explained that the unexpected assault wasn't carried out "with, like, a closed fist." Despite feeling "completely stunned," the Bravo celebrity informed her security guard about the assault, which led him to "start confronting the guy."
However, she expressed a desire to "get the hell out of there" and avoid "provoking [him] anymore." Recalling the incident, she stated, "At that point, I texted the broker and said, ‘I don’t want to see apartments anymore. This city is insane."
Since then the video has gone viral all over social media, with multiple users coming out in support of Bethenny Frankel amid the concerning trend of women being attacked in NYC. A user wrote, "Thank god you’re ok !" while another said, "Check out CNN they doing a story about other women also being punched in the face in NY it's all over tiktok".
One fan wrote, "It’s turning into ESCAPE FROM NY 2024! The cops can’t even stop this hate crime against women trend b/c of the insane laws they’ve passed."Another posted, "I am wondering if you have called the police so he will be able to do it again to next girl?".

And don't say she wants to stay relevant. She's is not well known, other than the Bravo World viewers. I'm sure her police report will spell this all out. We are having enough issues not trusting the victims!"

The 53-year-old former cast member of 'The Real Housewives of New York City' took to Instagram on Wednesday, March 20th, to address trolls who had been criticizing her parenting and her daughter Bryn's fashion choices.
Frankel sternly stated, "Some people think it’s their business how I parent and how my daughter dresses," recounting an incident where a fan expressed readiness to defend Bryn against criticism during a public outing.
Frankel continued, asserting, "[My fans] will come and confront you if you dare speak ill of my child. The one thing off-limits is my parenting. You'd better keep walking and find a seat because if necessary, I will personally address you."
She then expressed pride in her "nearly perfect" daughter, gushing, "I am blessed with the most beautiful, thoughtful, caring, loving, spiritual, sensitive, darling, loving, smart human being as my child."
