LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Despite being one of Hollywood's most sought-after directors, Zack Snyder's Netflix film slate is encountering challenges. Despite his vision for Rebel Moon's saga, recent releases have faltered.

'Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire' disappointed fans upon its Netflix release, and its sequel, 'Rebel Moon- Part Two: The Scargiver', has garnered similar reactions, casting doubt on the saga's future success.

Making things worse, 'Rebel Moon- Part Two: The Scargiver' has even earned the lowest Rotten Tomatoes score of Snyder's entire filmography. Serving as a sequel to 'Rebel Moon - Part One', 'Rebel Moon - Part Two' follows Kora (Sofia Boutella) as she assembles a team to defend the peaceful farming planet of Veldt from the Imperium.

Critics largely criticized the first film for feeling derivative and lacking character development, indicating a challenging journey ahead for the 'Rebel Moon' series.

As 'Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver' hit Netflix screens on Friday, April 19, early reviews on Rotten Tomatoes paint a grim picture with a mere 14% score from 29 reviews, as of now.

While this rating may fluctuate with additional critiques, as of Saturday, April 20, it currently marks the lowest point in Zack Snyder's career. Surprisingly, the first 'Rebel Moon' installment held its previous lowest score at 21%. As of now, no audience score has been added for the sequel.

Following the film's release on Netflix, fans raced to X to express their opinions, with many categorically rejecting it.

An X user who claimed to have disregarded reviews and viewed the movie remarked, "Didn’t really care for Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver, with the reviews being low, I thought I would at least enjoy it for the action but really didn’t care much about the movie Guess the reviews were right lol."

Another viewer criticized the film as dull, saying, "The lighting is better in Part 2 is the only nice thing I can say about an otherwise extremely boring & soulless movie."

While another panned the film, saying, "Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver was terrible. I would be very hesitant to watch anything from Zack Snyder in the future. Zack Snyder is supposed to be a huge artistic nerd but what a horrible movie. I'm just kidding ignore the hate train from the MCU fans."

Meanwhile, a user mocked the film, stating, "IT'S OVER! The real "Scargiver" was the movie scarring my psyche over the course of 2 hours."

"I had the brilliant idea to watch Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver and it gave me a f*****g brain scar from the damage it did. They could have just retooled the first movie, eliminated the entire back half of it, combined it with this and had an ok Seven Samurai remake," said a disappointed fan.

A dissatisfied fan said, "Finished Rebel Moon: Part 2: The Scargiver. I’m now less curious to see the director’s cuts of these films when they come out."
