Reza's rocky relationship with his father
Farahan may have been the most charming member of the 'Shahs of Sunset', but his family life has been far from charming. His relationship with his father was especially strained. They were essentially estranged. Viewers got to witness the father and son reunite on an episode of the show and it warmed the hearts of all. Farahan went to hash out all the issues with his father and explained to him that his father's infidelity had a profound effect on him. Farahan also admitted that it had ruined his own relationships because he, too, had cheated on his partner.
Farahan also asked his father, "How come you never called me?" His father admitted that Farahan's grandmother did not want him to have any contact with Farahan because he is not Jewish. Despite their resentment and hurt, the duo reconciled with a hug and kiss and eventually became a part of each other's lives.
