'Shahs of Sunset': Reza's 'abortion' statement is one of the many reasons fans aren't liking him this season

Reza Farahan has not been in his element this year and no one's blaming him especially after all the relationship issues he has been tackling in this season of 'Shahs of Sunset.' And, going by the reactions he has managed to generate from his actions and words on the show, it wouldn't be wrong to assume that he may just turn out to be the most controversial cast member of this season.

Reza has not had a good start this year. The housewarming party, which was supposed to be a celebration, a night of fun and games with friends and family, turned into a session of shocking revelations and alarming accusations. Reza found out his husband Adam Neely had been to a strip Jenga party when he was traveling and later, learned that he even sent nude photos to Ali Ashouri.

Destiney Rose tried to get Reza and Ali on the same page by getting the two at a cafe so that the two can sort out their differences and in the process, explain and understand each other. But, it only got worse with Reza spilling a tall glass of drink on Ali in a fit of rage. When Ali showed printouts of the messages and photos Adam had been sending him, Reza defended him saying that it's very normal with Adam and added that he shares similar content with Mike Shouhed as well.

However, Destiney asked him to calm down and informed that it was his best friend, Mercedes 'MJ' Javid, who convinced Ali that what Adam had been doing to him is sexual harassment. This prompted Reza to call MJ and give her an earful for making wild allegations against Adam. MJ was in the ER at the time, in the process of getting her uterus removed.

Reza may have his reasons to be upset. His marriage is on the rocks with having to defend cheating rumors about Adam and then his best friend of 30 years, MJ, goes and talks behind his back. He must be down in the dumps, which explains his aggressive behavior. But, maybe, sometime in the future, he needs to sit down with these very important people and talk it all out. In relationships, there's nothing better than an honest conversation.

But, before Reza can get to that he may have to do a lot of damage control about the shocking statement he made for MJ at a recent gathering. MJ and Destiney were trying to have a conversation about the Adam-Ali controversy when Reza intervened and within minutes MJ spilled her drink on him, after which he yelled that she was a 50-year-old woman who has no class and added that her uterus exploded because she had 10 abortions.

This drew a lot of flak on social media and fans were furious and couldn't believe Reza could say something so vile to his friend from so many decades ago.
