Before the release of The Kardashians on Hulu, Khloe Kardashian spoke to Robin Roberts in an ABC interview. Her plastic surgery, insecurities, public life, and, of course, her daughter True's father Tristan Thompson were all mentioned.

"I still think he's a great guy and he's a great dad, he's just not the guy for me," the co-founder of Good American said of the Canadian-born athlete. Khloe's praise of her ex-boyfriend, however, angered some viewers. During an affair with 'The Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star in 2021, the NBA player cheated on her multiple times and even fathered a kid with another woman.

Many fans took to Twitter to express their feelings over the exciting newfound information. According to one user's tweet, "Honestly in our days is quite impossible to trust someone and to find someone who is not lying…celebrities or normal people, is always the same!"

Another person, feeling sorry for Khloe, wrote: "poor Khloe, she actually believes the first time Tristan cheated was when she was pregnant, but he actually cheated on his pregnant girlfriend when he first started dating Khloe."

One user showed a little support, writing: "Hope she finally see's what we've all been saying. Show your daughter how not to be treated."

Another Twitter user, in an irate tone, wrote, "The rest of us knew as soon as we heard he was in a relationship with a woman when he started dating Khloé!! She still took back after the 1st time he got caught....she just didn't want to admit how foolishly blind she was!"

Khloe opened up about her ambitions for the future and finding love in the interview with ABC. "I think at the end of the day, all of us aspire to have blissfulness, we want to be happy, and we want to feel safe," she remarked when asked what she looks for in a romantic partner.

Khloe was then questioned about her relationship with Tristan in particular. "I did feel incredibly safe in the beginning, and I felt really good for a time," she admitted. "I remember when he cheated on me right before I gave birth but I was still able to have him in the delivery room. Yes, it might have looked strange to the outside world, but when my daughter watches videos of it, those videos of it are going to be as pure and perfect as I was able to make them."

Despite the fact that he was still dating the fashion mogul at the time, Tristan had a child with his mistress Maralee Nichols in December 2021. A month after the child was born, the basketball player claimed to be the father. He eventually publicly apologized to Khloe.
