LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: British actor and producer John Boyega has been very vocal about his experiences in the film industry, especially working with Disney for the 'Star Wars' franchise. The entire conversation started when, through the entire movie series, Boyega's character Finn- a black stormtrooper who abandons his role within the evil First Order to join a group of fighters in the Resistance got utmost importance throughout the franchise, but was later sidelined in 'The Rise of Skywalker'. Most of the issues Boyega talked about were complaints that Star Wars fans and critics also had with the direction of his character, specifically how Finn was sidelined, and never given a chance to flourish.

Recently, John Boyega opened up again about the entire incident with Disney and reflected on his experiences. He shared, "For me 'Star Wars' has made the man, in a sense. The experiences, the fun times, good times, ugly times, bad times, it makes you who you are as you navigate through the industry." according to The Times.
