'Ink Master: Turf War': Could bad canvas be a reason why Jessa Bigelow was eliminated?

'Ink Master: Turf War' aired yet another interesting episode, which saw skilled tattoo artists fight for a spot in the top seven. Jessa Bigelow, unfortunately, couldn't win the race and was sent packing. Her tattoo of the Brooklyn Bridge, as part of the US landmarks challenge, was hardly a true representation of the popular New York site.

Even though she did all she could, the man who acted as her canvas could be a reason why she wasn't able to round off her design the way she had wanted. He was fidgety and finding it tough to bear the needles. A couple of hours into the challenge and he left to take a break. "Let me take like a three-minute break and throw some water on my face," he said.

It wouldn't be wrong to assume that Jessa knew all along she would be pulled up for her design because she couldn't pull a straight line right from the word go. "It's a f****** nightmare. I cannot get any area of solid, clean tattooing on this guy and I am f*****," Jessa shared during her green-room interview and added that it sucked to know that after all the hard work she could be going home because his canvas won't sit still.

If Jessa had more time with her canvas and if he stayed still, would she have gone home today? Most likely not because Bob Jones' Hoover Dam tattoo was the next most-critiqued work.

Meanwhile, fans on YouTube have shared how bad canvases are a huge concern and the good artists shouldn't have to go home because a certain someone cannot sit at one place. Most feel the canvases coming in for getting inked must be screened better for pain threshold.

"What’s with these canvases? I’ve seen too many of them chicken out and not sit still. At a shop, we try our best to make you comfortable and if needed do separate sessions but you know you’re a canvas for ink master. You have to suck it up and fight through the pain. I do think ink master needs to start doing better with the canvas vetting process. I know it’s hard to tell how they’ll sit but come on," a user wrote.

"Ok, these bad canvases are getting out of control! They NEED to screen these people better so good artists dont go home because the canvas can't sit!," another shared.
