'Industry' Season 4 trailer packs drama and twists with Harper and Yasmin taking centerstage
HBO dropped the trailer for 'Industry' Season 4, with the new instalment promising plenty of drama, much like the previous three editions. The trailer follows the teaser release from last month and puts Yasmin (Marisa Abela)on a mission to undermine the fintech company Tender. The other, Harper (Myha’la), is in that phase of her wedding with Henry (Kit Harington) where the honeymoon phase seems to have plain evaporated.
According to HBO's logline, “At the top of their game and living the lives they set out to have as Pierpoint grads, Harper and Yasmin are drawn into a high-stakes, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game when a splashy fintech darling bursts onto the London scene. As Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck and Harper is pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram, their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top.”
The star-studded cast also includes Miriam Petche, Sagar Radia, Toheeb Jimoh, Charlie Heaton, Amy James-Kelly, Roger Barclay, Andrew Havill, Kiernan Shipka, Kal Penn, Jack Farthing, Stephen Campbell Moore, Ken Leung, Max Minghella, Claire Forlani, and Edward Holcroft. The series is created and written by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay. Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther, and Ryan Rasmussen serve as executive producers alongside Kathleen McCaffrey and Rebecca Ferguson.
In an interview with I-D earlier, Myha’la previewed season 4. "You can just expect what you would expect from Industry, but every year [showrunners] Mickey [Down] and Konrad [Kay] somehow manage to elevate their writing. I’m really proud of this season, it’s really strong," she said.
Showrunners Mickey Down and Konrad Kay had expressed their excitement for a fourth run. "We are beyond thrilled and grateful to HBO, the incredible team at Bad Wolf, and our phenomenal cast and crew for their continued belief in Industry and for allowing us to grow as creators, writers, and now directors whilst taking the show to new heights," the duo said in a statement. "We can’t wait to dive deeper and deliver the best season yet in season four."
'Industry' Season 4, which premieres on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 9 p.m. PT/ET. New episodes of the eight-episode series will drop weekly on HBO and will be streaming on HBO Max.
