'In The Soop Friendcation': Why was V crying? Wooga Squad surprised by BTS member
'In The Soop: Friendcation' is now closer than ever as it is set to air on July 22 not only on the Korean channel JTBC but also on the international streaming platform Disney+. And fans are excited as we are getting HYBE’s ‘In The Soop’ but a Wooga Squad edition. Popularised by HYBE groups like BTS and Seventeen, the 2022 season 'In The Soop: Friendcation' has BTS’ V aka Kim Taehyung along with his friends that he got close to on the sets of the hit 2017 K-drama ‘Hwarang’.
As one of the popular cliques of the Korean entertainment industry, the Wooga Squad consists of K-drama’s favorite actors Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik and Park Hyung-sik, rapper and producer Peakboy, and BTS’ V. Well, in the latest teaser of 'In The Soop: Friendcation', the men hint that the whole mini-reality show was planned by V himself. We first had Peakboy and Seo-joon asking what they were going to do on the show with V simply saying, “You just have to trust me.” Well, it looks like the squad would do anything for their maknae (youngest member) as the show revealed that V was in charge of the whole trip.

‘In The Soop: Friendcation’ trailer drops
In the 'In The Soop: Friendcation' trailer, we get a montage of several activities like fishing, ice skating, swimming and a campfire. It seems that show is also a healing trip of sorts for the Wooga Squad as we had them getting honest one by one. From Peakboy asking if he could share his story for the first time to Woo-shik and Hyung-sik revealing their worries of not being true to themselves, it looks like 'In The Soop: Friendcation' is about to be a tear-jerker. Fans already have their tissues ready as at the end of the trailer, the group noticed that V was crying.
In the trailer, V had shared, “My walls are down when I’m with you guys.” Then at one point, while they were going to sleep the BTS star had his face covered. When the rest tried to check in on him, they were surprised that he had tears, “Taehyung, are you crying?...What’s wrong?” Viewers took to Twitter to wonder why V head teared up and were touched that the rest of the squad was worried for him.
‘In The Soop: Friendcation’ will start airing on July 22 on JTBC at 9 pm KST (8 am ET) and Disney+ at 11 pm KST (10 am ET).
