LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Flash' is one of those movies that everyone wants to see, but with everything that has happened with Ezra Miller in the recent past, the interest in this movie has undoubtedly gone down. However, Warner Bros. and DC backed Miller and said that they will go ahead with the film as it is despite facing a lot of backlash. But it seems people are once again excited about the movie because the makers have released the first official trailer for Andy Muschietti's superhero movie. We are already pumped up to see this one on the biggest screen possible.

The trailer, which was released online during the Super Bowl LVII, starts with Miller's 'Flash' using his super-speed to travel back in time to save his mother, who was murdered when he was still a boy. A voiceover in the background also asks why Barry Allen wants to visit this particular timeline, to which, Barry replies that this is the timeline where his mom lives. As the trailer moves forward, we get a few glimpses of Allen's childhood and how everything fell apart when his mother died. The transition between the past and the present is done superbly here and the effects are bloody amazing.

The clip then introduces us to Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne telling Barry Allen how dangerous time travel can be for him and everyone. Although Allen assures him that he can fix things, the reality is that things might go haywire and puts the whole world in jeopardy. And that's what happens when he tries to alter the timelines and to everyone's horror brings back General Zod (Michael Shannon). But the biggest moment of the trailer arrives when Allen felt that no one can defend them and suddenly someone says "want some help?" and we see Michael Keaton wearing the iconic Batman costume 31 years after he wore it for the first time.

In the concluding moments of the trailer, we also see a few glimpses of Sasha Calle as the mighty Supergirl.

The trailer has made everyone believe that this movie should be seen on the biggest screen possible. The official synopsis reads, "Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?"

'The Flash' speeds into theatres on Friday, June 16, 2023. You can watch the new trailer below.
