'I Know What You Did Last Summer' joins the reboot bandwagon as Amazon Prime Video is all set to reintroduce the '97 cult slasher, this time as a series with a new cast, and ginormous amounts of gore and suspense. The streamer bagged the contract in 2019 to produce the series with Sara Goodman and James Wan as the executive producers.

The latest version follows a group of teens in a small town full of dark secrets, who find themselves stalked by a mysterious killer one year after the night of their graduation ceremony. The film starred Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Ryan Phillippe in key roles. The flick saw the friends who are threatened by a brutal murderer one year after they cover up a car accident that kills a man. And ahead of the reboot's release, here's a quick look at who plays whom.

Madison Iseman as Lennon/Allison

Iseman plays Lennon/Allison in the series. She is best known for her role as Bethany Walker in 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' and 'Jumanji: The Next Level.' Her other works include: 'The Rachels' and 'Killer Coach'. The cast previewed their characters during the 2021 New York Comic Con and Iseman described Allison as "someone You can’t really know what she’s thinking."

Brian Tju as Margot

Tju plays Margot in the suspense thriller. The American actress is best known for her role as Riley Marra in the MTV series 'Scream'. She's also played supporting roles in 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Life as a feather', '9-1-1' and 'Chicago PD'. The 23-year-old described Margot as "bright and sometimes obnoxious."

Ezekiel Goodman as Dylan

Explaining his character as a guy “who is very concerned with doing the right thing," Goodman plays Dylan in the series. The actor and writer is known for 'Rat Bastard' and also serves as the producer for 'Peacocking.'



 

Sebastian Amoruso as Johnny

Sebastian Amoruso (Amazon Studios)

Amoruso is relatively new in the circuit with just one credit to his name. He starred in 'Solve' and is now set to mark with the Amazon show. In the convention, Amoruso said: “I think he’s the drummer of this group. He keeps things together without drawing attention to himself.”

Ashley Moore as Riley



 

Moore plays Riley, “She’s very much in love with her best friend,” the actress teased keeping much about her character a secret. Moore previously starred in 'Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping' and 'Rule of Thirds'.
