'I get them into my system': 'Glass Onion' star Daniel Craig on how he approaches big, climactic monologues
Daniel Craig is one of the finest actors working in the industry right now and keeps on enthralling audiences with stupendous performances. 2019 saw Craig playing a detective in Rian Johnson's 'Knives Out' and knocking it out of the park with his impeccable acting skills. The actor received a lot of praise for his performance and fans were in awe of the actor's monologues. Three years later, the actor is set to play Detective Benoit Blanc once again and don the detective's hat in 'Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery'.
The movie sees Benoit Blanc travelling to an island in Greece where a man named Myles Bronn (Edward Norton) is hosting a big murder mystery party for his friends. However, things turn upside down when a real murder occurs and Blanc now has a real mystery to solve. Just like the first film, this movie also features a couple of big monologues and sees Craig showing his acting prowess in the most extraordinary manner. While making an appearance at the 'Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery' press conference at the London Film Festival, the 'James Bond' actor opened up on returning to the role and talked about his approach to the character's big monologues.

Talking about the big monologues, Craig said, "I just get them into my system as much as possible. The line learning is kind of something I've done way before, I've got it there and then forget it and just try and loosen it and try to do the acting thing."
The actor also praised Johnson for his amazing writing and said that there's a "lot of rhythm" in the screenplay and that makes his work easier. He added, "There's a lot of rhythm in the screenplay, a lot of what Johnson's thinking, and then I add what I'm thinking in it, and then somewhere between the two we find a balance."
During the conference, Johnson finally addressed the question of whether Benoit Blanc is queer or not. There's a scene in the second movie that has made several people interested in knowing about Blanc's sexuality and it seems we finally have a definitive answer from the creator of 'Knives Out'. When met with the questions, Johnson was very happy to confirm that "yes, he obviously is." Craig also agreed to Johnson's comments, which drew a massive cheer from the crowd.
