Oscars 2023: Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell reunite nearly 30 years after 'Four Weddings And A Funeral'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans were overwhelmed after 'Four Weddings And A Funeral' stars Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell reunited on stage at the Oscars 2023. The two actors were back on stage together nearly 30 years after they appeared in the romantic comedy. Hugh, 62, was seen donning a black tuxedo with a black bow tie. Andie, 64, wore a black sleeveless dress with asymmetrical straps.
Hollywood's biggest night is back as the Oscars 2023 kicked off on Sunday, March 12, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the awards for the third time and also his first time since 2018, which was the last Oscars to feature a solo host.

'Basically a scrotum'
Hugh and Andie's segment, which was supposed to announce the nominees for 'Best Production Design', was opened by Hugh, who said they were there "to do two things." "The first is to raise awareness about the vital importance of using a good moisturizer," he said. "Andie has been wearing one every day for the last 29 years. I have never used one in my life."
Hugh then pointed at Andie, saying she's 'still stunning,' and back to himself, saying 'Basically a scrotum," and prompting a laugh from the audience. The pair then continued with the award for production designers, announcing the winners, Christian M. Goldbeck and Ernestine Hipper, who worked on the adaptation of 'All Quiet On The Western Front'.
Hugh Grant... LMAO! Me too! Decades without enough sunscreen and now I'm in the "barnacle phase" of life. New stuff growing on me all the time. Oy. Andie MacDowell does look great. #Oscars2023 pic.twitter.com/E3kjWqpt9u

Not their first reunion
However, this is not the first time Hugh and Andie have reunited after starring in 'Four Weddings And A Funeral'. In a short film sequel in 2019, the duo appeared to commemorate Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. Although the original film was nominated for two Oscars for 'Best Picture' and 'Best Original Screenplay', it went on to lose out on both.
