'Hannah Montana' beach house is now bookable— here's how you can spend a night inside iconic Malibu house
The mid-2000s generation would readily recall Hannah Montana's iconic Malibu beach house, which boasted exquisitely styled rooms and even a rotating closet. During the peak of the 'Hannah Montana' sensation on Disney Channel, the beach house was the one location that fans of the show looked forward to visiting someday. As part of the show's 20th anniversary, that wish is finally poised to be granted, as Airbnb recently announced a partnership with Disney Channel to recreate the Malibu beach house as a bookable venue.
The accommodation platform further announced that, starting at 9 a.m. ET on March 25, fans of the popular show will be able to request a booking for one of the 10 one-night stays at the beach house. The one-night stays will take place from April 6 through April 16 and include accommodations for up to 4 guests per visit. The official Airbnb statement further reads, "Set along Malibu’s iconic coastline, Hannah’s beach house is where sun, sand, and a double life come together. Guests are invited to step inside the space where friendships took center stage and where the line between ordinary life and pop stardom disappeared."
'Hannah Montana' debuted on the Disney Channel in 2006 and helped catapult Miley Cyrus to global stardom. The plot of the show followed Cyrus, who tried her best to balance her life at school, where she was an average student, and her music career, where she was a chart-topping pop star. 'Hannah Montana' eventually became known as the best programming on the Disney Channel and ran for four seasons. The show also spawned a concert film and a 2009 feature film, which was released in theatres. The network is celebrating the show's 20th anniversary, premiering a special edition this week that builds on the audience's nostalgia.
The Malibu beach house now offers fans of the show a singular opportunity to access the very spaces inhabited by their favourite star. Guests will be invited to "Step into the legendary closet and transform into a pop star, surrounded by sparkling stage looks, bold accessories, and unforgettable style moments." Furthermore, they can also expect to interact with several elements related to Hannah Montana's pop persona. The signature rotating closet from the popular show remains the prized attraction and will be replete with some of the pop star's most famous attire. The interior decor of the beach house will further hint at key moments from the show. The booking window remains open till March 25, and the guests will be finally selected based on the submitted requests.
