How did Nick Cannon's son Zen die? Host revealed CRUSHING details of baby's final days
Nick Cannon fans are mourning with him today as he announced the death of his youngest child on December 7 while hosting 'The Nick Cannon Show'. He welcomed Zen Scott with 'Wild 'N Out' model Alyssa Scott in June, breaking the internet at the time. He had become a father of twin children with another woman named Abby De La Rosa a few weeks ahead of Zen's arrival which resulted in the host being trolled endlessly.
Cannon is no stranger to being a target on the internet be it for his inflammatory comments regarding the Jewish community or his support for Dababy who was canceled for his homophobic rant at Rolling Loud Miami 2021. However, this time around people are banding together to send virtual support to a father who has lost his infant. Cannon revealed Zen's condition deteriorated quickly after Thanksgiving which was his final weekend Earth side. In an eight-minute video posted to his Instagram, Cannon reveals the heart-crushing details of his baby's last days before he died.

How did Nick Cannon's son Zen die?
Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott's 5-month-old son Zen died from a brain tumor. In the video from his daytime show, Cannon revealed Zen had suffered from hydrocephalus previously which causes fluid buildup in the brain cavities resulting in an increase in the size of the ventricles. This in turn puts pressure on the brain. Cannon said the tumor developed quickly around Thanksgiving. The host further said his son died on Sunday, December 5 but not before the beach trip where Cannon held him in his arms for the last time. He was headed to New York for work commitments after the trip but received a call to head back for Zen. The baby passed away shortly after.
Cannon said their baby had braved a tough life having undergone surgery after which a shunt was installed for the fluid to be drained out. Cannon said things deteriorated after the surgery. The internet is brimming with support for the host and Zen's mom Alyssa. "My prayers go out for #NickCannon after losing his son. To listen to his message on his show was heartbreaking. Glad he knows what his help comes from: #God," a Twitter user wrote. "Praying for comfort and peace for Nick Cannon, that shit just broke my whole entire heart," read another tweet. "Praying for Nick Cannon and his family. To even be able to get those words out live on tv, to even show up, is a strength that I can’t even fathom," another supporter tweeted. "@NickCannon Your show today had me in tears. My daughter Ashley is in Heaven along with your Angel and I felt your pain," wrote another fan.
