LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It’s no secret that Whoopi Goldberg has a flair for the dramatics when it comes to ‘The View'. This can be whether or not the segment has anything to do with her, or even if she isn’t part of the conversation. It is particularly interesting to see how Whoopi’s career trajectory has panned over the decades. Now, the limelight largely rests on her antics and dramatics on ‘The View’ along with her fellow co-hosts, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro.

Every day ‘The View’ and its panel of hosts bring their viewers and fans some hot topics, politics, and a plethora of gossip that is discussed amongst these women. More often than not, Whoopi stands out, and that has happened yet again. Only this time, she has torn up a piece of paper, aka her cue card, and excused herself from the conversation altogether mid-segment.

What made Whoopi snap?

There have been several moments where Whoopi has given a sigh and a disproving look, but this around, she has torn up the cue cards. Lucky for her, the writers are still on strike, or this might have been a lot more disrespectful to their hard work and ‘The View’ in general. The topic in hand was quite simple as Whoopi read out a confession where a woman admitted that her husband was stealing her food and that she was willing to spy on him. As we said, ‘The View’ really does cover it all! The topic was open to discussion with the rest of the panel, and Whoopi was quick to excuse herself from the discussion, claiming she had nothing to do with this conversation.

In addition to this, as Hostin was talking about her experience, one can hear the cue card being ripped as the camera pans to the whole panel. Whoopi has a disinterested look on her face as she tears the card up, barely giving an explanation in the process. The rest of the panel, especially Hostin, continues narrating her experience, even after Whoopi tears up the card in a fit.

Whoopi skates on thin ice

Over the last few months, several sources have spoken about Whoopi being asked to quit ‘The View’ and since then, her antics have only increased. Could Whoopi’s behavior be intentional as she patiently waits to be fired from ‘The View’ because won’t quit? Nevertheless, Whoopi continues to skate on thin ice, even after giving a lap dance to Hostin in the same show. There’s no stopping Whoopi…until there is, but only time will tell!
