Plot
'Home Economics' takes a look at the heartwarming yet super uncomfortable and sometimes frustrating relationship between three adult siblings: one in the 1%, one middle-class, and one barely holding on. The comedy is inspired by the life of writer and executive producer Michael Colton. But it goes deeper than that with the siblings being incredibly close to the point of irritation. What follows are their daily interactions and reactions to different situations faced.

Season 1 saw struggling author Tom releasing a book that fails, forcing him to go to ask for financial help from his younger brother, Connor who's well-off but trying to bounce back from his divorce. Tom now hopes to establish again a middle-class lifestyle with the newest book he's writing, which is loosely based on his real-life family. This worries Tom as he doesn't know how they'll react once they realize the book is about them. Meanwhile, Sarah is just trying to make ends meet and struggles the most with money.

Caitlin McGee
Caitlin Cole McGee is an American actress. She is best known for her role as attorney Sydney Strait on the legal drama 'Bluff City Law'. She is currently a regular on the ABC comedy 'Home Economics'. McGee has appeared in minor roles on shows such as 'Blue Bloods', 'Chicago Med', 'Grey's Anatomy,' and 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel'.
Sasheer Zamata
Sasheer Zamata is a comedian, actress, and writer. Her recent credits include Hulu's 'Woke', 'Comedy Central's 'Robbie', the horror-comedy film 'Spree' and Lionsgate's romantic comedy 'The Weekend'. For four seasons, Zamata appeared as a cast member on 'Saturday Night Live' and has performed on 'This American Life' and 'Late Night with Stephen Colbert'. Her stand-up special 'Pizza Mind' is available to stream online, and she is one half of the weekly podcast 'Best Friends' with her best friend Nicole Byer.
Jimmy Tatro
Jimmy Tatro can most recently be seen in Universal's 'The King of Staten Island', directed by Judd Apatow. He appeared in his Facebook Watch series 'The Real Bros of Simi Valley', which he created and stars. He recently wrapped filming Peter Farrelly's new Quibi series 'The Noq', opposite Dave Franco and O'Shea Jackson Jr. Tatro gained notoriety as the lead in season one of Netflix's 'American Vandal', for which he was nominated for a Critic's Choice Award for Best Actor.
Karla Souza
Karla Susana Olivares Souza is a Mexican-American actress. Souza is perhaps best known for co-starring opposite Viola Davis in ABC's hit international drama 'How to Get Away with Murder', which recently completed its six-season run. She was most recently seen starring as Rosario for Amazon Prime's Spanish language drama 'El Presidente'.

'Home Economics' is created by writers Michael Colton & John Aboud. They serve as executive producers alongside Topher Grace and Eric and Kim Tannenbaum of The Tannenbaum Company, whose Jason Wang will co-executive produce.
