The popular Apple TV+ show ‘Home before Dark’ is officially coming with Season 2 and fans cannot wait to see their favorite characters on the screen once again. The series revolves around a true story that follows a nine-year-old girl named Hyldie Lysiak (named changed to Hilde Lisko in the series) who solved a murder case. However, society was not ready for it and soon started targeting the young girl for being exposed to murder at such a tender age. But she never backed down and even started a newspaper known as Orange Street News.

Season 1 ended on a massive cliffhanger and people are expecting to get some answers in the second season of the show. The first season garnered universal acclaim from the critics as well as the audience and the makers will be hoping for a similar kind of success with the upcoming season. Air time and how to live stream

Season 2 of ‘Home before Dark’ will be premiering exclusively on Apple TV+ on Friday, June 11, but the air time for the show hasn't been announced yet. Plot

The official synopsis reads, “Season 2 follows reporter Hilde Lisko (Prince) as she seeks to learn more about a mysterious explosion that hits a local farm. The investigation leads her to fight a powerful and influential corporation, jeopardizing the health of her family and Erie Harbor.”

Cast

All the original cast members are expected to return for the upcoming edition. Brooklynn Prince will be reprising the role of the young investigative reporter Hilde Lisko while Jim Sturgess will be playing the role of her dad Matt Lisko.

It's likely that viewers will also see the return of series regulars such as Abby Miller and Kyle Rogers, who play Bridget Jensen and Izzy Lisko (respectively) on the show. Other possible returning cast members are Michael Weston, Joelle Carter, Aziza Scott, Jibrail Nantambu, and Deric McCabe.

Creators

The show is created and written by prolific writers Dana Fox and Dara Resnik. Meanwhile, writers such as Ann Cherkis, Carla Ching, Hilary Cunin, Russel Friend, Joe Hortua, Garrett Lerner, and Lucas O’Connor have also co-written some of the episodes.

Fox is known for writing the screenplay of movies such as ‘What Happens in Vegas’, ‘Couples Retreat’, ‘Ben and Kate’ and the upcoming movie ‘Cruell’. The movie stars Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone in the lead.
