LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During his recent interview, Harrison Ford, reminisced his previous movies and pinned '42' and 'K-19: The Widowmaker' as his underappreciated movies. The 'Star Wars' actor is recently seen as Dr Paul Rhodes, who runs a therapy practice in the ongoing Apple TV+ series 'Shrinking'. Ford is seen playing the boss of Jason Segal in this comedy movie, which focuses on tackling grief and overcoming the loss in the most heartwarming way. 

Ford is undoubtedly one of the most seasoned actors in the industry, with several iconic roles under his belt. He is known for playing multiple renowned characters including the loveable smuggler hero Han Solo in the 'Star Wars' franchise, the charming archeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones, also known as 'Indy', in the 'Indiana Jones' franchise, with his iconic trio of whip, fedora and leather jacket. He is also known for his role as the iconic Rick Deckard in the 'Blade Runner' film series.

During a recent extended profile with The Hollywood Reporter Ford opened up about several subjects, starting from some of his significant moments in his acting career to his experience with therapy to him joining the MCU as Thunderbolt Ross. When asked about his favourite roles and is there any role that he felt was underappreciated at the time but was proud of, the 'Indiana Jones' actor listed the movies '42' and 'K-19: The Widowmaker' and noted that he was very proud of those movies.

He further went on to add that he thinks they are "good movies." Ford said that each film has its own destiny and he does not go back and parse the experience again. Ford said, "I’m proud of '42'. I’m proud of K-19: 'The Widowmaker', where I played a Russian submarine captain. But I think they’re good movies — that’s why I’m proud of them. Each film has its own destiny, and I don’t go back and parse the experience."



 

'42' is a 2019 biographical sports drama that told the story of the baseball player Jackie Robinson and his journey toward victory amidst the racial tussle he had to overcome. Ford played Branch Rickey, the owner of the team 'Brooklyn Dodgers', alongside Chadwick Boseman who played the legendary Jackie Robinson. This movie gained a positive response and became a hit.



 

On the other hand, 'K-19: The Widowmaker', released in 2002, is a historical film thatl revolves around a submarine, where Ford played the Commanding Officer, Captain 2nd Rank Alexei Vostrikov. The movie deals with the nuclear submarine, K-19. This film gained mixed reviews.
