DESTINY CALLS! 'Indiana Jones 5' trailer sees Harrison Ford FIGHTING Nazis in the most epic way possible
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Indiana Jones’ is back and he is ready to embark on a journey that’s filled with a lot of adventures. After a lot of false starts, we have finally seen the first footage from the upcoming movie in the franchise which sees Harrison Ford punching the Nazis while chewing bubble gum. ‘Indiana Jones’ has been one of the greatest movie franchises of all time and it doesn’t come as a shock that Ford wants to go out with a bang.
The trailer starts with a calming shot and continues with glimpses of the character’s many adventures around the world as someone is trying wholeheartedly to bring him back to the time when he used to go on an escapade without any fear. In the trailer, we see a man saying, “I miss the desert, I miss the sea, and I miss waking up every morning wondering what new adventure the day will bring to us.” However, Indy is not interested in returning to his past life and says that “those days are gone.”

But we know that Indy will never take a step back from a good adventure and he does exactly like that as he dons his iconic costume again, along with his legendary hat. The clip also shows Jones talking about the “things” he has seen during his adventures and no one would even believe that those things exist. But this time he is not alone and is joined by his god-daughter Helena, which is portrayed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. His god-daughter is just like him as she finds herself in the middle of an epic car chase.
After a montage of action sequences, the trailer concludes with Ford taking out his whip and telling every baddie in the room to stand back. However, he gets the shock of a lifetime when every single one of them takes out guns from their pockets and starts to shoot at him, but once again, he escapes death effortlessly as we see the official title on the screen ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’.
The trailer also introduces us to new cast members like Mads Mikkelsen, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, John Rhys-Davies, and Shaunette Renee Wilson.
However, the most interesting aspect of the trailer is Ford’s character getting de-aged. It looks pretty similar to what Martin Scorsese did with Robert De Niro for ‘The Irishman’.
This is the first movie in the ‘Indiana Jones’ franchise that is not directed by Steven Spielberg and not written by George Lucas. Meanwhile, it has already been confirmed that the upcoming film with Ford’s last movie in the franchise won’t be returning for another one.
‘Indiana Jones 5’ is scheduled to release in theatres on June 30, 2023.
