It looks like Halsey has some surprising desires for future music, given the chance. The 'Without Me' singer sat down with Vogue Magazine on November 9 to discuss her imminent debut collection of poems 'I Would Leave Me If I Could', releasing on November 10. During the interview, Halsey revealed that in future music, she would like to collaborate with Harry Styles or Grimes, as well as release a possible punk rock album.

When asked about her dream collaborators, Halsey said, "I really want to work with Grimes, because I love her, and I have always loved her. I’m also everyone’s biggest fan. I’m such a fangirl." She continued, "I want to work with Harry Styles. I loved his last record. I’m so proud of him just as a fan and as a peer. He’s a real one. I think we could make something really cool together."

A collab with Grimes would work beautifully as both Halsey and Grimes are electropop artists, and seeing her perform alongside Harry Styles would make for a cute and exciting pairing: a collaboration we never realized we needed until now. Fans on Twitter are also in agreement with her dream picks for artists to collaborate with. "Omg my favs she has TASTE," said a fan while another wrote, "Taste, all I see is legends." The comments are filled with other collaboration suggestions with artists like Lady Gaga, Madonna, Cher, and Camila Cabello. "I need her and Lady Gaga to collab," said a fan.

When asked if she would consider release a full punk rock record, Halsey said she definitely sees it as a possibility. "I do really want to, but it needs to come naturally. I’ve never sat down before and been like, 'Okay, I want to make this type of album.' The album kind of makes itself," she said, adding, "When that time comes, it’ll happen on its own. I definitely need to do it eventually though, because I’m starting to age out of being angsty and punk."

Such a notion by Halsey has brought on mixed reactions from fans with some saying that Miley Cyrus did it first. One fan said, "say thank you miley for reviving pop-rock." "Her voice would literally ruin it omg," wrote another Twitter user. One fan added, "Miley's impact, I would love a collab MileyxHalsey." More positive reactions included comments like, "Holy s**t, I’m here for this!!!" One fan shared, "We want punksey." "We love Halsey no matter what musical genre she sings," noted another fan.

Whatever the case might be, Halsey has a strong following on social media and a loyal fanbase who would likely be receptive to any creative alterations to her music.
