'Even Hillary​ Clinton has less security': Hailey Bieber's 'Secret Service' detail raises eyebrows

Hailey Bieber travelled to New York City on Wednesday, June 15 in a fleet of vehicles similar to those used by the Secret Service for the launch of her Rhode skincare line. The 25-year-old model was being driven across Manhattan by sprinter van which was closely followed by three Escalade SUVs.

An eyewitness who has been in New York for a significant amount of time told Page Six exclusively, "Even [Hillary] Clinton​ has less Secret Service. I think I've seen Hillary roll with her van and one other secondary vehicle, but as far as other celebs, no one rolls that deep." A second local source said, "I have never seen a celebrity use three SUVs plus a sprinter van before."

It's unclear why four big vehicles were required when the former 'Drop the Mic' co-host was seen with a group of roughly eight individuals and three bodyguards. According to US News and World Report, a sprinter van can accommodate up to 15 passengers, and each Cadillac Escalade can accommodate up to seven passengers, according to the Mercedes-Benz website.

Reports obtained by PageSix claim Hailey's husband, Justin Bieber, did not accompany her on the trip to New York because he is reportedly still in Los Angeles getting better after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which has left his face mostly paralysed. The automobile fleet may have been justified if the superstar singer, 28, had made the trip, as two stars and their separate crews would have been moving around the city.

Surprisingly, Hailey's work as an environmental activist has been recognised, and she just accepted a position as the worldwide spokesperson for Superga sneakers.
