“Thank you for honoring me, the only academy that surrounded me with so much support and appreciates the art of songwriting as I do," reported US Times Post. "I was so inspired for this song by the incredible story of the love and the grace and the generosity of someone that donates their beloved organs to help another person live,” the songstress. 'Just Like That' was also awarded Best American Roots Song. The nearly six-year wait was finally over when the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee released the track from her debut album.

“I don’t write a lot of songs but I’m so proud that you appreciate this one and what this means for me and for the rest of the songwriters, who I would not be up here tonight if it wasn’t for the art of the great soul digging, hard working people that put these songs and ideas to music,” Raitt continued. “So I thank my team for helping me get this record out and thank you so much. I’m just totally humbled. I really appreciate it. Thank you.” Earlier in the night she was also awarded with 'Made Up My Mind' for Best Americana Performance.

'Did Steve Harvey say the wrong name?'

Internet users claim they were stunned when Raitt was announced as the winner. One user wrote on Twitter, "When Jill Biden said "Just Like That," the crowd took a full beat, like, "...uh, is that the Bonnie Raitt song?" #Grammys" Another said, "nobody knows that song, never heard of it." A third chimed, "Even Bonnie Raitt hasn't heard "Just Like That." A fourth tweeted, "Congratulations. Bonnie Raitt has that “did I just beat them young folk” look on her face! It’s nice to see 70-year-olds still win Grammys, especially in a category with the “hot” acts!" A user mocked, "Did Steve Harvey say the wrong name?" "I know, she knows, that we know she shouldn’t have won that award," read a tweet.
