Grammys 2023: Why was Beyonce late to the Grammys? Fans joke about singer being 'stuck in traffic'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Beyonce missed her big moment at the Grammys 2023 after being stuck in traffic. Although she was declared the Best R&B Song winner at the event, bringing her total Grammy wins to 31, she was not present to receive her award. She won the award for the song 'Cuff It.'
Host Trevor Noah stated at the event, "So, for real, Beyonce is on her way. But you know the upside of hosting the Grammys in LA Is that everyone can be here. The downside of hosting in LA Is the traffic." However, she eventually showed up at the iconic awards, where Noah stated, "You know, when you equal a record, there's no way you get to hold your Grammy in your hand and celebrate that."
