Grammys 2020: Usher pays tribute to Prince and fans say they're 'falling in love with him again'
The 62nd annual Grammy Awards is in full swing and promises to be a night that no musical fans will ever forget. After mesmerizing performances by Lizzo and Alicia Keys, Usher took to stage for a tribute to Prince who died in 2016.
Dressed in a snazzy silver jacket, white shirt, and pants, Usher shut down the dance floor with his performance. Fans were full of praise for him and took to social media to express their views.
A fan wrote, "Ok I'm falling in love with Usher all over again..." while another tweeted, "I was not a big Prince fan but Usher is killing this tribute."
Fans gushed over his dancing skills as well. "Usher got moves," wrote a fan. "@Usher rockin this Prince tribute performance w @FKAtwigs amazing soo good I think he’d be proud!!" tweeted one.
"@Usher, you are so fine! Love the tribute to Prince!" wrote a fan. One fan commented on his outfit and said, "Okay, but who let Usher out of the house looking like that though?"
One disgruntled fan wrote, "The Grammys have been doing “honoring” Prince for the past 4 years. Move on. For real. Nobody was raving about how good Prince’s music was before he died. Why are we now? It doesn’t make any sense."
