GOT7 Jay B’s solo album Somo Fume release date, how to listen and tracks
GOT7 has definitely been doing more in the last seven months than they did as a group over the last seven years since their debut under JYP Entertainment. The boys ended their contract with JYP and decided to part ways from the label and not one another. They will continue to make music as a group but for now, all members want to focus on their solo careers.
Jackson has already established himself in the global music industry as a powerful solo artist. Not only him, Mark Tuan, GOT7’s lead visual, has joined GOT7’s Marvel line by lending his voice for an OST for the movie, ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ after his solo ‘One in a Million.’ Jinyoung has also released his single ‘Dive’ and successfully completed all 16 episodes of his recent K-drama, ‘TheDevil Judge.’ GOT7’s maknae line also saw solo releases from Yugyeom and Bambam. Now that Jay B (Jaebeom), the group’s leader, has announced his solo extended play after his hit single ‘Switch it Up’ was released, Ahgases await more information about Younjae’s solo release.

Teasers
To tease the release of his album, Jay B first released a black and white vertical teaser to drop the news of his solo venture. On August 24, Jay B dropped a bright video of him walking through a forest as parts of his songs from the new album played in the background. The lights of the video change as the feel of the songs changed. The peppier the song, the brighter the visual starting with ‘B.T.W.’, his collaboration with Jay Park. Jay has been supportive of all members of GOT7 but is rather close to Jay B. Fans love to see them interact on each other’s Instagram live streams and that being said, this collab is highly anticipated.
As soon as the verse for ‘AM PM’ played, the video became blurry and green toned giving away lo-fi vibes. The background turned reddish with ‘FAME’ and for ‘In To You’ it was dark again as the slow track played. Fans have already heard ‘Switch it Up’ which was bright green again only for the background to turn dark, almost pitch black for ‘Count On Me’. The final song ‘Paranoia’ did not have any visual or audio in the teaser. Jay B is known to keep exclusive tracks for the physical album only and ‘Paranoia’ is one such song.
