'We all shared our opinions about going out together'
Jay B has always been deemed as the leader of the group GOT7 who started off their new chapter this year leaving their former agency JYPE. In a recent interview, Jay B spoke of what it was like starting a new chapter and taking a bold step but also deciding to keep the group intact no matter what. The 27-year-old K-pop crooner said, 'We all shared our opinions about going out together and doing something on our own,” and added, “I took responsibility for the whole process with the new record label and we released the single ‘Encore’ not long ago. I was proud to do something that was different than what I’d done before. The single showed that we hadn’t disbanded, so the next step is even more important. When we left JYP, CEO Jung Wook told me, ‘This is where the real work of a leader begins.’ I’ve realized the truth of his words.”
