GOT7 know how to keep their promises to fans and the new single ‘Encore’ only proves why the South Korean septet is hailed worldwide for their bond as seven. The K-pop group recently took a strong stance by leaving JYP Entertainment but promising fans that they would not disband, if anything they will come back stronger on their own. The super-group kept their word and came back with their first single as GOT7 2021 and Ahgases can’t stop crying over it.

With a music video that shows the K-pop septet in their elements sharing a meal, recording the song together in the studio, and talking to each other, it is evident that the group was planning the comeback for a while but managed to keep it a complete surprise for their fans.

The lyrics have made fan crying over the song as true to their words, it is their love for fans that make the song so special. ‘Encore’ starts with “Feels like we are still just kids
But the world calls us adults/ Let’s never grow up/ Have we forgotten that time when we made a promise?/ To us, that were experiencing everything for the first time/ Everything about you was a gift/ Remember that/” and goes on to say, “Right now too, (for) all of you/ We will sing for you.”
