Jackson Wang is coming up with a brand new single ‘Alone’ on January 30 and GOT7 fans are beyond excited for the new project. The dramatic new teaser, mostly shot in noir, unveils the K-pop star in a charismatic avatar. Here are all the details you need to know about the new single.

Wang is the founder of Team Wang and a member of K-pop super-group GOT7, which who just ended its contract with JYP Entertainment. Wang started his solo music career in 2017 and delivered quite a few bangers along the way. The 26-year-old K-pop singer who debuted with GOT7 with the single ‘Girls Girls Girls’, made it to the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list at 41 last year with his ever-increasing popularity. The Hong Kong-based singer plans to make music in Korean and English along with Chinese dialects. 



 

In 2020, Jackson released a number of hit singles introducing diverse concepts. In March 2020, his ‘100 Ways’ presented a unique concoction of Western and Chinese culture which became the first song by a Chinese and K-pop solo artist to debut on Mediabase's US Top 40 radio chart. His next EDM single ‘Pretty Please’ was a collaboration with Swedish duo Galantis. In 2021, Team Wang also announced another collaboration with Sublime artist agency where GOT7 member Youngjae joined.

After the teaser dropped, Wang enthusiasts started getting Team Wang and Alone to trend on Twitter. A user said, “The fencing mask, the Olympic rings, the suitcase and the airport sign. It's his story!” Another said, "Teaser 2 𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘵...𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵...𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦... 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘦..."
